We’ve added another practical upgrade to the Prep My Vehicle workflow — you can now record and calculate actual reconditioning costs for each vehicle as it moves through the process.
Here’s how it works:
You can now enter recon cost details directly into note sections within each lane. For example:
- “£1200 + VAT – Front and rear bumper incl. lower section”
- “£115 + VAT – Two front alloys”
The system will automatically read and total the currency amounts, giving you a running total recon cost for each vehicle.
Better still — when you export the Prep My Vehicle report, you’ll now see:
- Total recon costs per vehicle
- A clear view of actual vs estimated spend
Why this matters:
- Track average recon costs across your pipeline
- Compare real costs against what was originally estimated during appraisal
- Improve forecasting and tighten up your margins
This update gives you a sharper, data-driven view of how much is really being spent — and where.
